Kavos itself is filthy and the music that the limited number of bars play is all the same Zzzzzzzzz. There is a foam party every Monday and Friday at Club Sex. They were fantastic by the way. The touts are worse in Kavos than any other place I have ever been, they are really in your face and do not leave you alone. It's quite quiet in Kavos and the clubs are always nearly empty. There is a themed night in Kavos at club Futures called Trinity and that was awesome. If I had to give the holiday a score out of ten (accommodation included) I would give it a generous 3/10. I will never be going back to that dump ever again and I urge you never to go as well.

Best place to go in the world! - The Welsh Boys. Date of travel: Jun 2008
The best place to eat is the Drunken Squid, it serves massive steaks. The best bars are Buzz Snobs and the Fire Bar. Drinks are really cheap because of the special offers. Good place to finish off is Future and Atlantis.

I went to Kavos a couple of weeks ago and my first impressions were what have we done! I just kept thinking lets get settled in a nice apartment, which wasnt the nicest, but I didnt expect more because of what we had paid. There are so many bars and you can always get really good deals and just have fun. The beach wasnt the best but about a 30-minute walk from our apartment we found a really great part of the beach. There wasnt alot to do during the day apart from sunbathe, so here is some advice on excursions. Dont listen to the reviews of the reps! I went on a 2wentys holiday and will never go with them again. They tell you they are giving you a really good deal and tell you to make up your mind quickly. We didnt have time to look around for better deals! If you want to go on an excursion, DO NOT GO WITH THE REPS! I thought it would be better with the reps, that I would feel safer, all I can say is that I wish Id listened to the reviews. I went on a boat trip with the reps and they said all was included: drinks, food, sunbeds etc and paying as much as I did, I expected alot more. We had food and a cup of wine but then were asked to pay extra for sunbeds and other drinks! I was not happy. A trip to Corfu town is alot cheaper to do yourself. It costs four euros each way so all you need to do is get a bus timetable. If you organise your own holiday Im sure you will have an amazing time. I recommend doing it all yourself.

Was just me and my mate went out to Kavos, was nervous but as soon as we got there we met people on the way. We went with 2wentys, and my advise is to not go on the boat trip with them as if you go into town you can get it for cheaper. Worth going on the boat to the blue lagoon! The nightlife is wicked! There are plenty of bars and a few clubs. Always finished off with Future and then the one behind it but cant remember the name! The deals with the drinks are SO good, you get a free shot with most cocktails you buy. We always went into Legends to start the night off as we had the deal of BOGOF cocktail, free shot each, then a fish bowl for 5!!! I only got back 2 weeks ago and am looking at going again this summer!

One word. AMAZING! - Helen Thomas. Date of travel: Jun 2008
Do not listen to any of the bad reviews- Kavos is absolutely amazing had the best week ever and we were really emotional leaving- just got back and so depressed just wanna be there. So badly me and my friend are looking at going back and working for the rest of the summer!! Met some amazing people- went to Tenerife last year and the PRs were just rude but in Kavos they are so nice- if you say no we're going somewhere else tonight they just say have a good night! The best place by far is Rolling Stones absolutely legendary and all the workers go there after they've knocked off so always busy! Also Buzz, 42nd street and snobs are good. If its on while you're there go to Trinity 'cos is an awesome night and worth the entrance fee- but don't buy it through your reps just find someone on the beach as it's much cheaper. Also go to SOS bar and get the fishbowl- Jeff owns it and Daz is the PR there and they are legends and will give you a good deal!!! Go to tkds too as they do a lovely meal, shisha and have amazing watermelon fishbowls!! Also a must is to go on a boat trip to the blue lagoon- ask the people selling the tickets which boat Deano is going on 'cos he is amazing and we had such a good day! And it's worth it girls as he does a naked belly flop at the end! Again don't buy it through your reps as its much more expensive!Another must- stay up and go and watch the sunrise on the beach (about 6am-7am). Absolutely beautiful and a great way to finish of an awesome night! Basically BOOK IT NOW and if you already have enjoy it- it was the best week ever!!

Kavos is Crazy but wicked!! - Billy Hayes. Date of travel: Jun 2008
To be fair, Kavos does stink, but only a little bit & only sometimes, so it's not a great problem, the nightlife is brilliant & crazy. I had the best week of my life on the first one. Second I was dying but still went out all 14 nights!! Would recommend it to anyone who love's a good time, there was no attitude either, Buzz bar is quality & bonkers, Edelweiss & futures, all good too. I'm going back in September so anyone reading this who's going in September, see you there!!!

I can't wait to go Kavos. Sack all you stiffs who have given all these bad reviews to try and put us off... I'm gonna go there and have the time of my life and I'm sure everyone else who goes there is. I'm going in July with 8 of my mates and we are gonna go mental!

Before me and my 2 mates went to Kavos we did not know what to expect... but by the end of the week we were crying coz we didn't want to leave!! It is the best place by far for a girls or lads holiday, wicked bars and clubs. Definitely recommend the Barn, Snobs and Bonkers!! Cheeky PRs. Love it mate!!! You will not regret going to Kavos unless you're looking for a romantic beach holiday! Coz let me tell you the beach aint brill!! But by night, that's when you see what Kavos is really about. You have to go to Base Bar and try a barmans special. I don't know what's in it but it gets you hammered!! And also a headf**ker from Checkers! I've been back 5 days and I'm heading back on Monday to work out there!! Miss it too much xxx

One of the best holidays I've been on, I love the fact everything is literally right next door! Atlantis has to be my favourite club I've been to, the lay out is quality and leads onto the beach, playing R'n'B into the VERY early hours! Only problem there is it's kind of dirty, but in comparison to the reviews I read last year before going it isn't that bad! Hope you enjoy it! Also shout out to SNOBS, if you like garage you will love snobs!

Kavos is worst hotspot ever! - Unhappy Traveller. Date of travel: Oct 2007
After a 2.5 hour coach transfer from the airport - (if you are travel sick I suggest strong tablets, as the whole trip is via windey roads and the roads are not built for a couch!) we arrived the first week in October, and the resort was shutting down, that is to say all the nightclubs were already shut. We heard from many travellers that they were told that Kavos is still lively - this isn't the case and I am not sure when they closed but probably mid September. Beware of thousands of annoying wasps during the day regardless of where you are and mosquitoes during the night - they will stop you relaxing during your stay. The resort is very dirty which might explain this. If you fancy doing some excursions I suggest you shop around on the strip as holiday reps will sting you! The Aqualand being charged by our rep was 45 each and we found it for 30 each. A trip to Corfu via the Green buses was 3.80 return each and the reps charging 19.90 each!!!! If you like pie and chips etc you will be happy as this is the main food cuisine. Oh and there's a McDonalds and KFC (but they were closed when we were there). Don't have a curry as it's the worst ever.

Kavos is a quality place to go when you just want to go on a bender, I'm actually writing this now as I am in Kavos, the beach is horrible, but the Greek people are quality people. Just the mosquito bites are a joke, I am covered in them but if you want a holiday for clubs and a mad one go to Ibiza, but if you don't want it as lively then go to Kavos.

Kavos as a party scene was wicked and I had a great time, missed the creepy security guard filming us cause my friends and I managed to roll home at 8 every morning! hahahaha - Irish lad hotties and the cute Welshies kept us entertained and minds off the fact Mary has the key to everyone's belongings! (Eeek!) Didn't feel so bad bringing 4 blokes back who trashed the already rubbish apartment for us! hahahaha....x

I visitied Kavos with one other girlfriend and was really worried after reading the reviews! We had a great time and for a cheap holiday it's well worth a visit. The main strip is a little tacky, but there are so many bars you can find the decent ones and there are so many to choose from! I didn't understand why people say Kavos smells as this wasn't the case for us. We went to an area of beach off the Morfeus hotel and it was lovely, clean and blue, not dirty or full of litter as I had read on some reviews. Aristos is the best restaurant on the strip with great Greek and English dishes. The touts do get a bit annoying but overall a fun place and a great holiday!

The nightlife was amazing the only thing that annoyed me was rude PRs and people trying to con you! Don't get me wrong some of them was lovely. And the people trying to sell hats and roses claim you gave them too little money but they are well trained at switching coins!! Loads of little shops for souvenirs and great places to watch the footy and play bowling!

Kavos might have been good years ago but NOT anymore!! It's way too out of date, they still do old skool all the time... We're bored of that theme now! Also it stinks out there of God knows what, bad problems with sewerage I think!!! The guys at the hotel, Spiros & Jo were the rudest guys I have ever met in my life, what a bunch of nerds! They also stole my mobile, so don't leave your phone laying around!!!! I would never ever go back to Kavos let alone that stinking hotel. The sewerage pipes actually go into the sea that is 1 metre away from the pool. Also the wasps out there are out of control, haven't they ever heard of pest control?? Lots of mosquitoes and bed bugs!!!! Be warned: Don't go to Kavos. Ibiza or Malia is the place to be now...

Kavos is so lively and energetic. The people are so friendly and the food is amazing! It is such a beautiful place to be and you feel really comfortable. The nightlife was awsome, so many cheap drink offers and so much good music to dance to! Only bad thing I could say was that the hangover and sore feet the next day were a nuisance but well worth it! I can't wait to go back next year, and who knows, I may never come home again!

Just back from the lovely Kavos a day ago - totally knackered and covered in mozzie bites but it was worth it for sure. The good points were: great weather, friendly people, accommodation was first class, owners were lovely, loved the clubs & music especially Maria's Karaoke Bar (she's a legend), The Barn, Bonkers, Rockys, Rolling Stone, Snobs, Players Lounge, Future/Atlantis - amazing! Bad points were: the smell, the mingin beach (which you didn't notice if you were blocked lol), the shops could've been better but it was cheap & the food everywhere was delicious so can't really complain. If you're a night person, Kavos is the place 2 be!!! :-)

If you're into getting off your face and having a really good time then this is the place to be! Kavos is great for 18-30 year olds but no younger or older. I had a great time, nightlife was really good, loads of bars to chose from. You should go to Future and Atlantis at the end of the night, outside club on the beach... what more can you ask for?!! The beach is really nice in Kavos, clean and the sea is reasonably warm and the weather is lush!!

Kavos was amazing! We went with 2WENTYS reps who were awsome. The day times were not so good as there is not much to do. Myself and my mates rented out quad bikes... 25 euros for the day or 120 euros for the week. The nightlife is awsome, I went to Cancun in March for springbreak, and Kavos was defs on par. The town itself is a dive and is quite manky, but as soon as the sun goes down it is another world. You'll get the odd woft of shyt but u soon get used to it. Mosquitos are extemely anoying... make sure you take repelant and after bite. Avoid the gypo's in the evening, they r theiving little feckers. have a few bevies b4 u go out (cheapest way), best drink is head f**ker... it consists of 9 different spirits top up with pineapple and oj 5 euros. Big max diner is good for food, Popeyes do the best chicken kebabs ever. 10 euros free bar for 1 hour at Net Bare, Buzz Bar, and 42nd Street. Rocky is a wkd place to start off, Snobs is awsome. Future is quality but expensive for booze, Atalantis(is at the back of Futures, and is outdoor leading on to the beach) is amazing, if u want live porn then the beach is the place to go. It costs 20 euros to get in to Futures/Atlantis, but you can just go around the back and get in for free (u'll see wat i mean). Sunday night is hedkandi at Atlantis (again dont pay go round bak), wednesday night is Trinity in Futures (best night in Kavos). Monday nights is the foam party at Sex Club (wowowowowow). Take loads of money if u want to have a good tym, I took 500 euros hick was not enuf, ull need about 550-600 euros. Everyone says that the pr's are anoying but i didnt find them too bad. You can get some free shots etc from them. Theres about 3 girls to every lad which was amazing. Have fun kids and make sure u take potection x

Disgusting!!! - L. Date of travel: Aug 2007
Disgusting, smelly, dirty, just a place for people to go to get drunk and that's it. Went in once and it was enough, the smell made me sick. It really is as bad as people say. We wanted a quiet holiday but could only get Kavos in our budget. Glad we were out the way in St Peters. Probably would be great if we were in a big group and just went for the party and clubbing side. Really, really awful smell!!

Kavos is definitely a resort for those who are seeking a lively, clubbing holiday. Had I gone with a bigger group of people, then I definitely would have loved it. There was a never-ending choice of bars, clubs and restaurants. The beach was lovely and the weather was great too.

Where to go! - Haydn. Date of travel: Aug 2007
The hotel is a perfect distance from the strip in other words crazy section. There's a few minute walk down to the crazy end, which luckily doesn't fill up till around 11pm. On the strip are very nice restaurants. I recommend Penny's Kitchen - which serves all ranges of foods. Also, Desperado's which is a Mexican style restaurant, ooh, those Chicken Fajitas! And another Tex-Mex restaurant is very nice - beware of the massive portions though. Any soap lovers then the Fountain bar is outstanding, plays Emmerdale, Coronation Street and Eastenders. Big Brother as well! Football or sport fans, then Papagalo's is the one, a huge screen with curtains stopping the light from poor view, it's over the road from Mc'Donalds with its little Parrot logo. Go-karts are very good. There's 2 different tracks within 2 minutes of each other. When walking down the bank from Olympion Village, when you get to the bottom turn left, there is a 10 minute walk. After the walk, on the left you will see the poor looking kart track, but ignore it and walk for another 1 minute or so and keep a look our on the right - a superb kart track with very fast cars! Internet Cafe's and Pool tables in literally every bar - that includes the hotel. The cheapest breakfasts are usually at the first restaurant at the bottom of the bank. 2.50 for a full English breakfast. I don't know what else to mention, I hope this has been helpful for you.

Just came back tonight from Kavos, absolutely brilliant. Went with 2wentys and the reps were awesome. Loads of things planned. Nightlife was amazing, Rocky's and Rolling Stones club were by far the best 2 clubs out there for me, but then again when you're drunk everything's great!! Daytime there's a fair amount to do, quads, go kart, water park, laze by the pool, food isn't too badly priced out there either. Just make sure if you get travel insurance ask about excess and how much extra it is to make sure you have to pay that over there, trust me, it's worth it. The last night I was there I knackered my leg. The surgery wiped me out of money :( Still it's a legendary place!! So get yourself over there!!

The place to go for night owls and party animals! - Lucy and Tim. Date of travel: Aug 2007
The apartments are about a 10 minute walk away from the strip, not too far but far enough! We didn't really go for the nightlife but if you are, Kavos is the place to go!! Some of the clubs didn't even open until 3am!! All of the restaurants look lovely and we didn't have a bad meal the 7 nights we were there!! Please, please, please go on the beach BBQ trip, it was a fantastic day and the place to get your tans!!!

Went to Kavos last minute without knowing anything about the place and was well impressed, it's brilliant! Balls to the people who say its too noisy or smelly!! If you want quiet and clean then go to the Caribbean!! The nightlife is cracking and it's non-stop, what more could alcohol thirsty people want! Mind you the cocktails aren't as strong as they are advertised. The Fresh bar serves drinks that are not watered down and taste good. Best places: Rolling Stone, Atlantis, the Barn (for a start off venue) Worst places: The foam party at the Sex Club (unless you're 15 and don't mind getting your tracksuit wet!) Hed Kandi at the venue is disappointing if you're used to the UK ones! Overall get yourself to Kavos!! It's mint! (you might need a week off work the week after though).

Kavos smells of poo! I've never heard the "f" word said so many times. Not a place to go if you wnat to relax. Very noisy. Face bar ok but false advertising, they say 2 cocktails for the price of one but it's not true. I bought 2 large cocktails (not in the deal) and they cost 10. 2 small cocktails cost 6 (work that one out if you can)!!!

Not too bad, did stink. The nightlife is ok, but too many bars next to each other so they all look empty. Don't drink the spirits. They have water or turps or some other stuff in them... You will be ill. The food is ok. All in all, not bad...

Nice beaches - Beth. Date of travel: Aug 2007
The beaches were nice here. Do not pay for the sunbeds at Oula Apartments. Go to surrounding hotels which have nicer pools and free sunbeds. Everything at Oula is a rip off. If you hire a quad bike and go exploring, the Oula manager won't even let you use the hose-pipe to clean the quad bike. Your holiday experience will be ruined if you stay at Oula.

Will defo be going back... I could not smell anything like sewage, etc. The PRs got very annoying but that's their job so as long as you're polite to them, then you're fine. The gypsies were fine if you said no, then 9 out of the 10 times they left you alone. The clubs and bars are defo amazing and I would defo recommend Rockys, Beetle bar, 42nd Street, Future, Atlantis, Buzz. Overall, I loved the holiday and would give it 10 out of 10 easily.

Just arrived back from Kavos today and we stayed at the umbrella beach apartments. The location and service was great, the rooms weren't amazing, but you're not there to stay in your rooms. Met so many friends while I was out there and I really didn't want to come back. Make sure you do get travel insurance as I managed to end up with stitches in my leg from the foam party at the S=X club, which you do have to do. Great place to go and have fun, gutted I had to leave.

Brilliant nightlife all on one strip. Go to JC's, Snobbs and Rocky's. Penny's Kitchen great place to eat, loads on offer, reasonable prices staff very friendly. All escapades reps are wicked had a laugh and they are all down to earth. Prepare yourself for late nights, getting in at anything as late as 8am. Walk past PRs with food or drinks they tend to leave you alone then, they did get annoying. Will definitley be back, loved every minute of it!!!

A lot of people was slagging Kavos off to me when I told them we was going there, saying it's a hellhole blah blah blah, I won't lie it smells at certain times during the day, but not for long and there's just bars upon bars upon bars, it's a really ace place, only went to the beach once, it's not too nice. It's like Cleethorpes, but you can't have it all!!

Kavos is the best resort if you are young and especially if you are single as there are a lot of single sex groups out there. For the pole dancer in you, you will be happy to know that every bar has got poles and podiums in for you to show off you moves. The touts can get very annoying and often try dragging you in the bars. The drinks are pretty cheap out there, on average a bar will offer 2 drinks and 2 shots for 5. The best bar by far is the Rolling Stone and plays dance in the front and indie and rock in the back.

Best week of my life! - The Welsh crew!. Date of travel: Aug 2007
Kavos deceived my expectations, which weren't much as a result of reading the reviews before going. I'm going to start by saying it doesn't stink! A lot of people say it smells of sewage but I didnt know what they were talking about, I had the occasional waft of smell, but this lasted a couple of seconds and really doesn't bother me. Next I am going to say the beach is not bad. A lot of people say it's horrible but the sand is nice if you go to the right part, there is a bit of seaweed in the water on the shoreline but swim about 10 metres out then it's nice, clear and warm. Now to tell you what you want to hear. The NIGHTLIFE is awesome. I was out til 6-9am every night, and didn't have 1 bad night. There are loads of bars to get started in, the best being Players Lounge and Rolling Stones. These both play quality music that gets the place booming! There isn't as many clubs. I went to Trinity at Futures on the Wednesday to see MC Luck and DJ Neat, but all this is good for is sweating and jumping, it's not that fun. I found myself wandering down to Atlantis on the beach, that is an ace place to end your night. It's pricey but by that time you won't need much more drink to keep going. The beach is really fun. Go swimming, dancing and chat up females then stroll down to afters bar by the fire and watch the sunrise. KAVOS IS AMAZING and I want to do it all again 10 times over, it really was the best week of my life!!!

As for Kavos, although I'm only 20 and my boyfriend 25 it is definitely for young people. For us it got a bit boring doing the same thing every night listening to the same music although they do have hed kandi once a week which I don't really rate either. Not the same as hed kandi at home. If you're young and just want to get drunk and don't mind doing the same thing every night then Kavos is for you.

Kavos is quality!! The best hols I've ever had. I just went Aug '07 and missed it so much I'm goin back 1st Oct.. want to find a job then go out there for the whole summer next year....definitely go to: Bonkers, Crash bar, Atlantis. Do not go to: Sexy Bastards...my mate got her drink spiked. It was messy. Be warned: the cash machines are usless...there's only about 5 and they always run out of money. We completely spent all our money and had not eaten. All the machines crashed and we had to get a cab for 20 mins to next village. Lucky we could get the money out there!!!! Definitey go on Theo's boat. Absolutely amazing and to Atlantis foam party. And waterpark was alright!!

If you're a family and it's booked you've got to make the most of it. Aqualand water park is a must, the whole family should enjoy it. Blue lagoon boat trip, the one with buffet (not barbeque, the young ones all get pissed on that one)Although it's buffet you should still take a packed lunch because there's a good chance the kids won't eat it, they do diving for champagne and snorkelling in the blue lagoon but I would get the kids snorkelling stuff then wait till the others have have dived for the champers or get your kids to go the otherside because it's like 'heads up' and they just lob the bottles over peoples' heads. Book these with the local travel shops and they will be cheaper than with your rep, Brittani was the one we used. They pick you up from right next to your apartment. They are normally late but if you're late it's non-refundable. So hope you enjoy your holiday. PS. Remember if the pool or the bar your booked with, you're not happy with try the next one or the next one. They all welcome the customers as long as you're buying you're welcome anywere.

Kavos August 2007 was brilliant!! Bars everywhere!! Nightclubs were good but personally had more fun in the bars!! My advice - start off at Edelweiss Bar then move down to the main strip where your find Rolling Stones, Players Lounge, Buzz and Snobs (Shout outs to the guys who were rapping away at Snobs bar this Summer, you were wicked!!) The only bad thing about Kavos is the PRs. They stand outside restaurants and the bars/clubs trying to get you to come in and do not go away unless you fight them off. One night one guy had to pick me up and put me in the bar lol - it's seriously madness but then again if you ever run out of cash on holiday they're always looking for PRs lol!! The main beach at Kavos is disgusting. It's filthy and horrible but if you do fancy a stroll the nicest beach is about a 20 min walk and there is another one on the way that has watersports!! Overall Kavos was hectic can't wait for my return!!

Well, you won't be bored. Seriously, you'll always find somewhere to eat, and as for the 'gauntlet' just grin and bear it. If you ask them to leave you alone they will. Loads of bars for cheap drinks and fit PRs, trust me!

Kavos is the centre of the club scene, smack bang in the middle of 142 clubs in and around (Trinity is good for hip-hop and foam parties while rollingstone is good for when your ready to strut ya stuff!!!) The local drink is a headf**ker and it does exactly what is says on the tin... you'll be waking up in the morning with a sandy crack and head the size of Enrique Iglasias's mole. If you're going to Kavos you have to like Timberland.

Had a great time in Kavos and wish we were still there, we stayed in St Peters just outside the main strip like 5 min walk away! We relaxed during the day by the pool and went out at night. We met some great people who we will defo keep in touch with, Kavos takes a bit of time to adjust to but by the time your stay comes to an end you won't want to go home! Go to Penny's Kitchen to eat. Our favourite places to drink were Rocky's and Snobs was absolutely awesome. would defo go back.

Take plenty of mosquito stuff, the PRs didn't hassle too much, plenty of bars... recommend the Yasu! Kavos to be honest isn't really that bad... I went with my mate in August for 2 weeks, my first time with 18-30, and I will defo go on another 18-30 holiday! Our reps were proper sound, always there when you needed them, our lead rep Iain well sound, as for Heather and Gillian.....fit as foook! People say the reps are pushy but they aren't at all they just want you to have a good time! We booked 4 trips, (gutted cos we missed the booze cruise!) and they were well worth it, a proper laugh! Loads of fine ladies in Kavos, think if I went again I would go with a larger group, all in all we had a scream and would recommend Kavos to anyone... we'll see you at the reunion 30 Nov 2007!!! Yammas!!!

Go to Twins Bar on the end of the high street on the way home. The owners well nice and will give you drinks for pool tokens and the barn complex has a well hot waitress. Lets hope shes back next year cos most the population and bars are seasonal, so if you want a summer job emmigrate, youll love it, it's like Ibiza but you wont get mugged by other tourists and everythings cheaper.

Kavos one of the best hols ever! - Jay, Han, Hol, Chris, Drew and Rob. Date of travel: Aug 2007
Kavos was amazing! Really warm, the place looked mental when we arrived, maybe a little intimidating but by the next morning the sun was beaming (make sure you take lots of sun cream) and all the restaurants offered cheap and delicious breakfasts which are great with a smoothie if you're a little worse for wear! If you stay at freestyle you HAVE to go for their entertainment package... it's 190 (I think) but that covers excursions for the week it seems quite steep at the time but it includes a foam party (Take a towel and try keep it dry when you come out!), the captains boat trip is great, it helps you top up your tan as well. The Jail break was the best night by far, you get convict t-shirts and the reps are wardens you have to get to the 6 pubs on the map, it's really difficult to not get caught but it's so much fun, and when you finish you go on to a club with an open bar for 2 hours and drinking games! A real laugh! Rolling Stone is really good for indie and a bit of rock if you get totally fed up of all the same dance music, R'n'B. Don't go to Kavos if you don't like being hassled by PR types, but just remind yourself it's their job. If it really bugs you just tell them all you're going for something to eat, then they tend to leave you alone. If you arrive at night Kavos looks really dirty, but when by morning nearly all of the litter is gone which is really good. A lot of the reviews mention a bad smell but we only really had one day where we noticed a bit of a whiff so don't let that put you off! I went with 3 lads and 2 other girls and we had a girls/boys night... be warned boys, if you go for a lap dance the strippers WILL tell on you if they happen to get talking to your girlfriend! haha! I can't remeber the name of the restaurant that is REALLY nice.... umm not very helpful I know! But it's Austrailian theme and it's up a flight of stairs so look for a PR at the bottom of some stairs it's called Rodneys or something (memory sucks!) but it's lovely and their premium cocktails are AMAZING! I loved Kavos I only wish I could have gone for longer. It's not a particularly relaxing holiday because you're always on the go out late and up early-ish. It's not too expensive (especially if you go for the freestyle package) but most of the people I went with had to get money out by the final day. If you get a chance DO visit the water park its about 30-ish to go but it's really fun, unless you're hungover then the long coach ride can be a bit of a killer. Overall, everyone I went with wants to go back, it's very fun, not a place for older people or young children and if you're looking for a sweet relaxing romantic holiday as a couple I'd say maybe Kavos isn't for you. If you like fun... go!!

Kavos is amazing and we met some hot Greek guys lol. The greeks are amazing people and we made friends with so many of them. Edelwiess bar is amazing too!!! The DJ and the guy behind the bar-wooo to them lol. Going back next year definitely. Booking it soon :D
The nightlife is pretty mental, and Rolling Stone and Atlantis beach party were brilliant. Ended up there most nights as they don't close until the last person leaves. We left about 8 every morning. AMAZING TIMES lol.

Kavos itself it quite dirty and is definitley a party town. I would not recommend it for families and the beach was really horrible!! It is really narrow and dirty, you definitley cannot spend time on it!!! The shops and nightlife were good, a group of lads or girls would have an ace holiday but I was with my boyfriend so it wasn't the best. The full English brekkies were good and there was a pub at the top of ther strip which was good for catching up for the daily dose of hollyoaks!! Also I would recommend hiring a car and go to Agios Gordios (lovely) but the drivers over there are crazy!!!!

What a place!! Kavos is completely nuts nuts nuts! I went with 5 other mates (all lads) during July 2006. It was the best week of my life, and we all had such a good time. Our hotel backed onto Atlants dance floor so no sleep but we were never in before the clubs closed anyway. Buzz Bar was amazing and 10 for a free bar for an hour, so you can imagine the amount of drink consumed in this hour and they didn't mind how many shots or drinks you have! But expect no sleep. The music stops at about 6am - 7am then the pool music comes on at 8am - 9am. It's great but if you're tired, you will have to put up with it. Going to Malia this year so I'm hoping it is just as good! Definitely going to go back there one day!! 10/10 Party life 10/10 Location of everything 6/10 Beach 7/10 Accomadation 10/10 holiday

The first night we got to Kavos it was like early hours in the morning and looked really disgusting. Even though it is a small place, it is the place to be, believe me. You have never lived until you have been there! There is everything to do some things are expensive but I suppose you find the deals... I went with a bunch of girls but soon ended up with a bunch of new mates! You meet some amazing people and it would definitely be a place I would defo go again! My friends are all going back there this week to work there, as they say it is a place they would enjoy being. There is life and soul everywhere you go there!

The people in Kavos are great, and even though there's not alot of police to make things feel safe, there was no trouble and I heard of no drugs all holiday. There are places for everyone, from dance, r&b and garage bars. Places get closed early at 2-3ish like other Greek islands but there is many other things like beach front clubs open to 7 and the clubs. I would def go again and I've been to San Antonio in ibiza. You will love it.

Wicked but eventful week! - Chris. Date of travel: Jul 2007
We arrived at 6am and immediately had doubts about coming to Kavos because there were just a few parraletic people on the streets, rubbish everwhere etc... however, when we woke up the next morning all my doubts had gone.. very friendly reps at the hotel but they may try and con you on going on all of the trips they plan! In the day there isn't much to do execpt go down the beach or around the pool but this suited me fine anyways.. the nights are wicked, but try to drink before you go out as it can be costly as we found out the first few nights... Bonkers bar was the place where you could always find us most nights or Trinity or Atlantis afterwards.. the only bad point to mention is that the bar PRs get very annoying after a while and don't eat in the Tajmahal, it was shocking and we ended up walking out as it was that bad.. Oven Pub was class and cheap for a breakfast or lunch, definitely worth a visit!

The nightlife is great - J,J,F,J,B,N,L,E. Date of travel: Jul 2007
I don't know what to think of Kavos really. The place itself is very scruffy and our apartment was even worse with ants all over the kitchen area and bathroom which meant we couldn't eat in and the cleaner never came so the whole place stunk!! But the nightlife was great. There's so many bars and clubs to choose from and they were heaving every night. The alcohol was fairly cheap but haggling with the PRs made it even cheaper. The only downfall was that they all played the same kind of music which got a bit boring to the end of the week. There was lots to do through the day but I just spent it chilling on the beach which was on the other side of my apartment door. The sunbeds were very cheap to rent out and although the men selling fruit and water on the beach got a bit annoying they were also very funny and kept me entertained. I would go again but not in any hurrry so I'd leave it a few years first. A handy tip is not to pay for the 18 to 30 nights out as you can just walk round the back and get in free anyway. This includes the free bar.

Loved kavos - Susana, Judit, Umu, Barbara and Emily. Date of travel: Jul 2007
We were really freaked out when we got to Kavos. People weren't very friendly (at that time of the morning there only were Greeks who aren't known for their friendliness) and it was all deserted, so we headed to the hotel which I already said was awful and then we went to have dinner at like 8 and saw that the place wasn't actually empty! There were people all around and every few metres, girls and boys stopped us offering us: 2 cocktails, 3 shots, 5 by the way, we always fell for it. So well, I could say in Kavos the party starts at 10pm and can end any time you want (normally at 7, when the after shuts down)! The beach wasn't very nice but we didn't really go there because we got in so late that we spent all day sleeping till 6pm when we started dressing up again to go out! Crazy week that was, but I'd repeat whenever!
Unforgettable Kavos... - Chris. Date of travel: Jul 2007
Admittedly Kavos got tedious and repetitive at the last few days of our 2 week holiday, but it's only when we got home that we realised how amazing every little aspect Kavos offered was. The food and drink are a bit costly, so it's best to eat and drink in your hotel rooms, but the nightlife is INCREDIBLE. A range of bars and clubs kept us busy, drunk and partying. The PRs were stupidly annoying though. If I could I'd ban them from life and send them far, far away I would, because they fully imposed that it was them and them alone that was the main attraction to any pub. You go in and their vast ego expands EVEN further! But you ignore them and walk off and they shout abuse. Best thing to do is tell them where you're going exactly and not let them get to you, like they did us at the start. Kavos rocks I'd definitely go back (just not to the Koulouris Beach Apts.)

Kavos bars and nightclubs - Nottingham Gals!. Date of travel: Jul 2007
The main strip was pretty busy when I arrived and it honestly wasn't as bad as I was expecting it to be. It doesn't look like a shanti town like loads of reviews say and it really doesn't smell that bad. In the daytime, sometimes you get random smells of sewage, but it passes after a while. Loads of the PRs are really pushy, so just tell them you already know where you're going & they'll leave you to it, even if you have no clue where your going. The clubs don't start getting busy until about 3/4am, so stay in bars until then. Atlantis is the best club so I spent most nights there. Don't pay to get into Twice as Nice, Hedkandi or Trinty because people told me they were all rubbish and a waste of money. The free bar at Twice as Nice was awful, we waited an hour to get one drink and it just tasted like lemonade.

Kavos bars and restaurants - Sarah. Date of travel: Jul 2007
Excellent place to eat - Uncle Harry's. Was great food, majority British, and a good price. The strip is brilliant - best places are The Barn to start, Rolling Stone, 42nd Street for a bit of cheese after 1am, then Players Lounge and the best place to end your night is definitely Atlantis - you can walk straight out onto the beach and has a club upstairs called Future. (Dont buy drinks in there very expensive, if you use the back enterance you can sneak your own in.)

Kavos is interesting!! - Chloe & Jess. Date of travel: Jul 2007
The main strip is where all main nightlife can be found, all close together so you dont have to walk far to get from one end to the other. Would recommend asking for the 1 hour free bar at either Buzz or Snobs, both are 10 Euros about £6/7 and you just go to the bar for whatever, non stop for an hour! A great place to start, then rolling stone is next. Great atmosphere there. the bars you chose depend entirely on music preference so you'll know as you walk past what takes your fancy. Also don't be shocked if the music all of a sudden stops, it means the police are going past, its quite funny after the free bar!! AVOID a restaurant called eves garden, its terrible!! Trust us!!

Didnt think much of Kavos when we arrived and there isn't much to do during the day unless you go on an excursion, but the nightlife was brilliant! Rocky's is a great spot to get started and 42nd street, Snobs and Buzz Bar are all great too (especially when Giuseppe stood outside!!) Atlantis was tucked away and we only went after the 3rd night cos we didn't know it was there! But go it's brill and such a great atmosphere on the beach!! All you can eat Chinese is good and also Sizzlers for some feel at home food. Locals all seemed friendly enough and we met some great people and had such a laugh. PRs are so annoying but it's their jobs so leave them to it. Will def be back- even if it's for a long weekend to party!!

Kavos is the nuts! - The Sussex Crew, Ed, Sam and Craig. Date of travel: Jul 2007
Ahhh Kavos. We arrived home yesterday and boy do I miss it. I nearly stayed there working as a PR and I'm definitely going back to do that next year. Everyone is so up for a party and so friendly. We met some quality people that we already miss a lot and I guarantee that anyone going to Kavos will do the same. We first got there at like 9am when everyone is asleep. Our apartment pool was locked so we strolled accross the road to the Blue Sea pool (Spearos, you are a LEGEND) who were also run by Olympic holidays, and because of this, they let us have a swim and some breakfast. The Blue Sea and Anthony's are both Olympic apartments/pools and are run by two brothers. They are both quality people and run foam pool party BBQs which are definitely worth going to! Anthony also has one of the best and well priced menus for food that I've ever come across, although his drinks are expensive. Definitely worth getting a crate of beer to drink before you go out, very cheap that way. There are loads of bars that do great offers, including 'Lush' who will give you a pint of vodka Red Bull, a shot of sambucca and a fishbowl for 5. Other great bars are Crash, Buzz and Rolling Stone. Although I did get my drink spiked in Rolling Stone and so did some other guys, so watch out. Buzz played some ace music which is why I liked it so much. Sex club has some wicked foam parties and Atlantis is a Quality bar that is attached to the club Future. Atlantis is outdoors and goes out onto the beach, one of the best bars in Kavos although the drinks there are very expensive so make sure you're drunk before going there. Future is a great club and they hold events such as HedKandi and Trinity, where I saw K Klass and Tim Westwood. Only problem is that sometimes they over pack it for the big events and you can't move or breathe. Oh yeah, there is another bar called Sexy Bastards who will do you a free bar for 10, another great way to get off your head. The beach in Kavos isn't that great compared to other Greek beaches, but it's still sandy and good enough for a swim or some watersports. There is also a crazy and random man selling Melons. You will recognise him from his shiny body, big hat and his random shouts of "F*** the police, sexy melons for sale! I'm the only gay in the village!" Many people are scared of him at first but when you get to know him, he's so funny and you'll learn to love him. Restaurants can be quite expensive but still cheap compared to England. The Steak House and Tex Mex do some lush food, but if you're on a budget they can be quite expensive. There are also a few good Chinese restaurants around the place. I tried to avoid McDonalds and KFC, but when you're drunk and coming out of a club this can be very hard. Basically, I loved Kavos... I miss it so much and I'm actually depressed about being home. My advice is go for 2 weeks, take lots of money and enjoy yourselves. Savour every minute of it, because when you get back, you'll wish you never left.

Kavos is really great and I def want to go back again! The nightlife was really amazing with dance, r 'n b, garage and hip hop and very friendly people. There isn't many places to shop cos there is mainly bars and clubs. Eating out I'd recommend the Net Bar cos the food is good, but there is a lot of takeways for the night home.

A holiday I will never forget! - Lou. Date of travel: Jul 2007
Where do I start! Before I went to Kavos I had read quite alot of bad things about the town itself and after being there and experiencing it for myself I can safely say it is an amazing place. The smell that people go on about is half as bad as what people think, sometimes in the day you might get a wiff of sewage but most of the time I could hardly smell anything. The hotel I stayed at was wicked, couldn't have picked a better place and met some cool people whilst staying there. As for the nightlife, you could not beat it. At the beginning of the holiday we started going out about 9ish but soon realised that we could not hack the whole night, therefore we usually went out about 12/1 and had a few drinks back at our apartment as this makes things cheaper! Most bars offered the same kinds of deals 2 cocktails, 2 shots for 5 euros and sometimes a free fishbowl if there are a few of you, however alot of the bars use cheap alcohol. We usually started the night in Bonkers or Edelweiss Bar (good strong cheeky vimtos are the best there) then headed down to players lounge (rnb) or tango bar for a few drinks. Then it was always Rolling stones, which i loved (the indie room there is wicked and gets very busy), sometimes 42nd street (they have a balcony where you can do gymnastics if your as mental as we are) and then of course ATLANTIS!!! where you dance the night away and watch the sun come up on the beach and before you know it its the morning and the day starts all over again. Going on the pedalo is a must, you get a really good tan. Definatly go on a boat trip to the blue lagoon, was mental. Food wise, there are many places Uncle Harrys for a good fry up or toasties, the barn for lunch, the sweet house does very good baguettes and last but not least TKD's is also a must, we went there 6 times as it was so good. Food is not really that expensive and to be fair you dont really feel like eating much, usually two meals a day although cooking in ur apartment can be fun. The beach-not so good but what do you expect. we stayed by the pool most of the time and that suited us fine. yes the prs can be annoying but they are just trying to do there job, and after youve been there a while you get to know them and some of them are pretty cool. If you want them to leave you alone say you going somewhere else or meeting someone, usually does the trick. Also make sure you were insect repelant as they ate me alive and it was not attractive. After being in Kavos for two weeks I felt ready to come home but now I am back it has made me realise how much i want to go back!!!

Loved it! - Steffi. Date of travel: Jul 2007
I loved it! Was used to Magaluf as I had been there many years in a row but I now love Kavos! Nightlife is mainly bars but there's also a few main clubs but it's all fun and banter and everyone dances in the street between bars! Everyone's really friendly out there and the weather is lush, you'll have an amazing time :)

The strip - Kirsty. Date of travel: Jul 2007
Kavos strip is amazing, the night life is so great I can't actually explain how good it was. You meet so many ace people every night and you always have a good time. It isn't possible to be bosed. You are always smilling apart from when the PRs try pulling you in their clubs an snogging you!! They're the only annoying thing but if there's loads of you standing in a row and run through them they don't know what to do it's so funny and then they don't annoy you and they start speaking to you normally then. But other that that it is ace, the music, the people, the place, the bars the clubs, what more do you want? There's 125 bars on one road!

Kavos itself was amazing! When we first got there we thought we had gone to a shanti town but as soon as the streetcleaners have been out and tidied up it looks a lot better! Yes it does smell but only in the morning and you soon get used to it! The nighlight is great. So many bars to choose from but I would definitely recommend Crash Bar, MC Lipton is mint and the music is great! For eating the are loads of places but TKD's beats them all. It's above Trinity. Food is lovely and the cocktails to die for!!! I will be back next year without a doubt!

The nightlife was amazing!!! On the first night of our holidays we got there at about 2am and it was absolutly mental. I loved Kavos so much it felt like home. Snobs was a good bar as was Rockys, Buzz and Rollin Stone. Future Atlantis was a bit pricey 6euro a Stella but it was a good club. The smell of poo isnt v.nice but have a few beers and you dont notice it! The PRs could get annoying but if you get to know them you will get better deals the more you go there trust me I paid 3euros for 2mixers, 3shots and a fish bowl at Memphis!! If you are reading this and havent been on holiday to Kavos plz plz plz go you will love it. I want to go back and work for the season next year!!

Kavos is the best! Me and my mate just got back and had the best time ever. Really friendly place, went last year and it just got even better this year, best bars are Buzz, Rock In, Crash, Road Block, Future on a Sunday is mint, funky house night well worth 20 to get in, played tune after tune. Really nice restaurants, Pennys Kitchen portions are massive, also Desporados is nice but nicest of all was the Coursa Chinese restaurant. Food was amazin, a bit pricy compared to other places but well worth it. Also if you're going to Kavos the blue lagoon boat trip and the crazy speed boat is a must only 30 each I had a great time in Kavos can't wait to go back next year!

Kavos - Z. Date of travel: Jul 2007
I went back to Kavos after not being for two years (2nd July '07) and I really didn't think it would be any better than my first time (which was amazing, my review is here from there somewhere) but it was a million times better. Going with someone who had never been before, it's funny to see their reaction when they walk through Kavos in the day, she wanted to go home thought it was deserted and a complete hole. Which in all fairness, Kavos isn't really that pretty. However, the beach is no way near as bad as everyone makes out, yeah you do get the odd idiots throwing stuff in it at night but by the middle of the day it's usually fine on Kavos beach. You have to pay 3 for a sunbed and umbrella but if you go to the beach about ten minutes down the road they are free and you get no hassle from the people trying to sell you trips and cds, as nice as they are, it gets annoying after a while. There isn't much to do in the day except the water sports, boat trips to Corfu Town or the blue lagoon and booze cruise, which I advise no-one to book through their reps, you will get a much better offer on the beach. At night Kavos is a total different world, the atmosphere is amazing, you dont get the normal idiots that you get when out in the UK. Everyone is really friendly and up for a laugh, they do have bars that cater for everyone but most of it is R'n'B. Players Lounge is immense the best tunes were played there along with Atlantis. I also recommend the old bar and London Bar for R'n'B and garage. Rolling Stone for your cheese and indie, Buzz for your dance, Snobz and Crash Bar for your MCs, Mode for cheese, Future for your trance, avoid Sexy Bastards, it stinks in there, the drinks have meths in them it's horrible. You will get bugged to death by the PRs but accept nothin less. The 2 drinks 2 shots 4, it is better to get PRed coz sometimes you will get 2 drinks 2 shots for 2. Being a girl I took £500 for two weeks a maybe could have done with a little more but I wasn't strapped. If you're a boy I'd take at least £800 as they seem to go through money like water. You will get some good meals out there too. Usually 3 courses for 7 and there is plently of take aways for your way home on a night out. If you do not have a safty deposit box in your room you can hire one out of the strip for 15 week. Aviod mopeds and quads, too many accidents happen and if you get a scratch on one of them, they will make you pay loads. Venue has twice as nice every Thursday, Future has Trinity on a Wednesdays, Head Kandi on a Sunday all 20. Kavos is truly the best holiday you will ever have!

Kavos - Sarah. Date of travel: Jul 2007
Wow wow wow! Kavos is THE place to go for 17 to 25-year-olds on a reasonably tight budget.
At night the strip is one non-stop party. JC's is the best bar in Kavos. Strong cocktails, great music, fab staff and a crazy DJ. Atlantis is the place to go at the end of the night, on the beach...great music, meet the best people there.
The foam party at Club Sex is a must, as is Karaoke at Forum!! The DJ there was such a canny man.
Snobs plays quite a bit of old-school dance really good vibe in there.
Buzz is only good when is jam-packed really. Most bars have poles in, and there is a lap-dancing club for the boys. Trinity has some amazing nights!! Drinks aren't cheap but they are proper drinks, unlike many bar promotions where things get watered down.
During the day there's not much to do but there are plenty of excursions, and most people spend the day recovering by the pool anyway.
To eat, Mad Max's opposite the Lemon Grove is the best place for a budget. Dead cheap, nice enough food. The Village is really good for authentic Greek food too with the waiters even doing a Greek dancing & plate smashing rountine.
Best holiday ever! - Kirsty. Date of travel: Jul 2007
Oh my gosh, best holiday ever! Met so many cool people. Loved them all. Was gutted to leave and they were gutted we were too. (Don't want to miss a thing got sung to us) There bars are great. Roadblock with sexy Neil, Crash Bar With Steve Gee, Benny and Boden, Players Lounge with sexy Liam and Matt. 42nd Street Buzz Bar, Rolling Stones, Future, SOS, Pulse Bar. For food try Tex Mex, Jolly Ollys. We baguette ahop and Costers. The reps are the best, especially Scott, Sexy time :) Can't wait till next year!!

I loved Kavos but avoid Spotlight Bar - Horley, Redhill massive. Date of travel: Jul 2007
Brilliant time. Met loads of people. Would recommend it to anyone wanting a heavy holiday. Stayed at Blue Sea Apartments, Spearos is a legend (Manager). Would recommend anywhere apart from Spotlight Bar. You can't miss it as it's covered in graffiti. My drink was spiked as I found out and I'm lucky to be alive. Spent 500 on hospital bills because of this! BEWARE! Didn't ruin my holiday as nothing can!!

Kavos is wicked!! - Sabrina, Sheena, Amy, Charlie. Date of travel: Jul 2007
You're right at the beginning of the strip when you come out from Lemon Grove. So when you come out of the walkway turn right and go to a restaurant call majestic it's absolutley out of this world, the food was fantstic and the waiters are so gorgeous. Go to Forum Bar because they do wicked cocktails and also eat at Big Max Diner (they do the best breakfasts) and a 3 course meal for 7 and you got steak and fish included in that!!! Another nice place was Sizzlers and Pefkos (very traditional) owners a bit iffy and smells of BO but at least he doesn't cook. If you want tooth gems doing, don't go to the place that's opposite Pefkos because we had them done and they fell off within 3 days!! We had really good henna tattoos done at this woman's, she was nuts. She's half Belgian and half Greek, she looks off her face but she's fine. Further up the strip youve got Rockys Bar which is fantastic, music is amazing and then you've got Bar Mode which is the best bar on the whole strip!! No lie, the DJ is so funny and a right dirty little git, but he always gets your requests on. Drinks are cheap and the barman Harry is well fit but he's married! If you want to go to a nightclub then go when there's someone that you've heard of DJing because otherwise there's going to be 10 of you in the whole club!! We went to Trinity (which is the best) when Tim Westwood was playing and it was heaving... but an amazing night, would defo go and see him again. Further up from that you've got Roadblock, that was ace as well R'n'B music. There's a bar called Buzz as well that's got a fit waiter (rekon he was gay... shame) but you mainly get a load of hos in there dancing on the tables. Have a walk up the strip in the day (if it's not too hot) the shops are hidden away and they sell some really nice stuff. Watch out for this one bar, I can't remember the name but you won't miss it, the whole bar is covered in graffiti, everyone writes all over it...it's gross. For people that just want to drink, drink, drink, drink, drink and smell!!! Don't recommend it girls!! It's full of cheese! While you're there try this one drink, i'ts usually called a headf***ers cocktail for 5, it's in a pint glass and its got 9 spirits in it!! Woooooo.... it's lethal and so are them free shots you get if the waiters like you!!! Kerching!!! Anyway you can discover the rest yourself!! Enjoy yours holz!!

Great nightlife - Vicki and Joyce. Date of travel: Jul 2007
Excellent for the late teens and twenties - felt a bit out of place but great atmosphere and food very reasonable - Eve's Kitchen and the Steak House great grub to say the least and if you want a great view, go to Roussos.

Kavos rocks - Stockport lads. Date of travel: Jul 2007
Us 7 lads have just got back from Olive Grove in Kavos it was amazing. If you go you have got to book with Olympic and give Scouse Emma, the rep a massive hug from her stockport lads. She's wicked, so funny. We went on the bar crawl. A lot of the Olympic reps there were quite miserable it only seemed to be Emma laughing with everyone and you try getting her off the microphone, ha what a girl. There are loads and loads of brilliant bars there. Our favourite was Rocky's and 42nd street. The PRs are idiots, all they do is harrass you. We will defo be going back. A big hello to everyone that was there 13th July and a massive alreet to Emma the rep for Olympic, we miss you!

Amazing hol! - Nic. Date of travel: Jul 2007
Loved it. Simple as that. In the day you could chill out round the pool on the sun loungers and nip down to the beach for a quick swim in the sea when you felt like it, very chilled atmosphere but still keeping the party vibe going with drinks and music at the pool. Then at night everywhere did gorgeous food and the strip is such a good party scene! Every club or bar you go to has a brilliant lively atmosphere and theres a choice of music for everyone so no one could be disappointed! Only annoying things were the PRs outside the bars and restaurants and the people trying to sell you things on the street such as hats and glow bands but they were easy enough to bat off once you got the hang of it, just say no over and over again to them and they get the picture eventually!! The holiday reps for 18-30s were all brilliant too loads of fun and a good laugh to be out with.

I loved Kavos - Mo and Lisa. Date of travel: Jul 2007
It does smell a bit funny in some places but so what!! Kavos isn't licensed to play music after 1am in bars, so when the police drive past the PRs signal the DJ and they turn the music down an duck behind the DJ box!!! It's funny but annoying when it's about to kick into a good song!!! There are ldza photographers walking round and takin pictures which you can buy the next day in shops for 5!!! There are ldza PRs trying to get you into their bars, you might find it annoying but if you make friends with them they are wicked and really helpful and don't bother you as much!!! There are so many wicked bars and about 4 clubs which are wicked as well!!! Menthis is good for hardhouse and dance and a bit of hardcore, Snobs is wicked for garage and D'n'B, then most of the other bars play R'n'B, cheese, funky! I think Kavos is quite big on house music which I hated before I went, but it's so wicked!!! The DJs at freestyle vill are awesome!!! DJ Stevie is really good!! Listen out for song 'shining star'.... that's the Kavos 2007 anthem holiday song :)

Best Party Place Ever!!! - Clarkey. Date of travel: Jul 2007
The best thing about Kavos is definitely the nightlife... if you love partying and drinking then it's the place to be. By day it's quite a quiet place as everyone's either relaxing by thier pools or the sea or in bed with a terrible hangover from all the HeadF*ckers (cocktail) The best bars are Snobs and Rockys!! We spent most our time here then when they start to close we headed down to Atlantis - Party and BBQ on the beach! Met some wicked people out there and let me warn you, the male PRs are whores!!! Be very wary of them! If your reps offer a bar crawl then defo do it, good chance to meet other people which makes the holiday even better! Food is cheap and drinks are even cheaper, many bars offer good deals like 2 cocktails and a shot for 5!! We took advantage of this... the only bad thing I think I can say about Kavos itself is we had 3 power cuts in a week and all seemed to happen when we were getting ready...and a girl needs her straightners!! Ha, they didn't last that long though so was ok I suppose, and also there can sometimes be a bad smell but once you've got a few cocktails down ya, you don't notice it at all! Would definitely recommend Kavos and Aphrodite apartments to anyone up for a laugh!!!

Kavos was the best holiday ever everybody is lovely. There's something for everybody. We didn't get there til late at night and the street was full of people drunk and rubbish but in the day it's all cleaned up and dead, must be cause everybody is sleeping their hangovers off. If you go take mosquito repellent. I got attacked 31 times and my ankle swelled so much I couldn't walk. Aris is lovely, he even carried our suitcases to our rooms for us. If you're going soon make sure you see Aaron Lodge the hypnotist, he's hilarious and cute too. Me and my mate got hypnotised, it was well funny. Get yourself to Rolling Stones, the only indie bar and also Mode, it's cheesy but hilarious. Would definitely go back next year!

Kavos is the best place I've ever been, make sure you drop into Mode, Future and Atlantis, best places on earth. Also the Drunken Squid does the best fajhitas on the island. So good I went twice in the space of 5 weeks.

I loved Kavos - Rich(KD) And the Nottingham Lads/Ladies. Date of travel: Jul 2007
Me and my mates went on 13th July 2007 for a week. Had an absolutely mint time. Would recommend to anyone from 18-30 wanting a week or 2 of getting completely hammered:) Weather was boiling which is always good. The place itself isn't anything special with nothing to do in the day but once the sun goes down it kicks off big time. Best places to are Bonkers, Rolling Stones, Rockys, Buzz Bar to name a few (PRs can get really annoying though) Even though one was beautiful from Edelweizz cocktail bar so I'll let her off. And then mainly ended up most nights at Futures and Atlantis (best club in Kavos by far) and can round the night up on the beach:) Just watch out for the police. also Sex Club for foam party is a mint night.
I think personally I could only go there once because once it's done, it's done and there's plenty more places to go. Ayia Napa or Magalluf '08!!!

I loved the nightlife - Louise, Hana, Emma, Claire. Date of travel: Jul 2007
Kavos nightlife is terrific so don't be disheartened if you get to your accommodation and its a wreck because the nightlife makes up for it! It is a bit smelly but not all the time mostly just in the morning when you're just going back to your apartment. Make sure you lather yourself in insect repellant because there are mosquitoes everywhere... My friend had 26 bites around her ankle alone! Theres a really funny guy selling fruit at the beach, you can get good banter with him. The food's ok. The alcohal was poor. Cheeky Vimtos all the way at least you know it's a blue wicked that's going in your drink. The music is really good, everyone is up dancing exept watch out for the police because as soon as it hits 1am the music goes on and off, all the PRs are standing with lasers to tell the DJ to put the music off because the police are coming - so after a while that gets irritating. I would definitely only recommend a week because the strip is so small you would definitely be well bored with 2 weeks. Everyone should definitely do the booze cruise. It is a fantastic day.

We went to Kavos in July and loved it!! Spent most our days chillin by the pool and our nights dancing in the street, best places to go are Players Lounge, Crash Bar, Vibe (10 free bar for an hour), 42nd Street, Atlantis, Buzz Bar, I would go back to Kavos in a second!! Missing it soooooo much!!

We loved Kavos and are going back this year. Amazing weather and great people. Cheap drinks and good food... what more can us girlies ask for?! There are other good things to participate in.. eg. the hypnotist. great entertainment! Rolling Stone bar was amazing (we still have our t-shirts to prove it) don't listen to what the September people have said, they are talking rubbish! It's amazing! Go there, you will love it!!!!

Despite the hotel, the holiday in Kavos was fabulous. The bars and clubs are exellent for all hedonists, and the food is to die for. The best food is found outside the main resort in the small tavernas you will find in the hills (a quad bike or scooter is ideal), the culture and sights away from the main strip is breathtaking. Avoid the beaches however, as they are not as good as English beaches (and that's saying something really) all over 7/10 for the resort as a whole. But...Watch the gypsies because they're after your wallet.

Kavos was brilliant, I have had girly holidays where we drink all night & sunbath all day, but nothing compares to this. Nothing to do during the day but Kavos comes to life at night. Go to Rockys Bar they do the cheapest and strongest cocktails & Cheeky Vimto's. Futures/Atlantis are expensive compared to the others. Expect to pay 5 - 6 a drink & they aren't buy 1 get 1 free.

Don't think I'd go back to Kavos - M. Date of travel: Jun 2007
The 'Strip' itself had a good choice of pubs and clubs but the 'PRs' outside were very off-putting. You couldn't actually walk down the street at night just to take in the place without being constantly hassled. However, overall impression is that the place was quite cheap and tacky. If you are simply looking for a booze-filled holiday with loads of screaming boys and girls, then this is the place for you!! Highlight for me was the 'Crazy Speedboat'. They take you and your pals out in a reconditioned ex-British Army speedboat, you zip through water at amazing speeds, getting dipped in the water etc. Great fun! You're then taken to a gorgeous little beach on the Greek mainland which is approx. 7 miles from Corfu and you get the chance to go snorkelling with the instructor and he takes you out to sea swimming and lets you feed the fish, etc. Was a great experience. Then you get some cheap champers on the beach and another crazy speedboat ride back to Corfu. Jaws were aching with laughter after it. Well worth the money.

What a place! Kavos is the place to be! Me and 4 other girls just got back last week, and we are going back out in 2 weeks!! Best week ever, it was our mate's 18th out there, what a night! Trinity night was ok, not as good as all the PRs said, but a good night! Bars out there are wicked! Bonkers has got to be the best, Crash, The Barn, can't list them all! If you go out there make sure you get hypnotised too, what a laugh! we all can't wait to go back out there, and we are bringing more mates this time that couldn't make it last time. I'm so excited for them! We love it!

Kavos is great! - Rachel Howarth (Nicholson Group). Date of travel: Jun 2007
The good points on Kavos--Rockys Bar! The bar crawls seem to be full of life and all the bars have excellent staff and reasonable priced drinks! Go to the all-you-can-eat buffet chinese and all the places seem rather nice to eat at! The shops are mostly gift shops but get to Corfu town for the day it's great, also cruises to mainland Greece and the Blue Lagoon!!
I totally enjoyed Kavos!
Kavos rocked! - Mary. Date of travel: Jun 2007
Me & my mate went to Kavos and had an ABSOLUTE Blast!! Good Points: Really lively club strip with so many bars & clubs to choose from. Best bar: FORUM (DJ Tommy Pollyfilla is awesome, SOO funny, best laugh you will ever get!) Best club: Rolling Stones or Atlantis! Judge Jules was there when we were & he was amazing! Food is really good - you do get sick of it after a while but still we didnt have one bad meal and even the kebabs at 7am were GOOD! Most of the locals are friendly and love to have a laugh! CHEAP CHEAP CHEAP drink - just watch out for the deals and bargains, as all the bars/clubs are in such competition with each other, you can sometimes barter your drinks cheaper....we did and it worked!! Everyone is there to have a good time, so you feel really relaxed and everyone mingles together! We made some awesome friends! BAD POINTS:The smell hits you as soon as you get into Kavos, although you do get use to it, its a bit wiffy! Watch out for the SPIRITS!! Some of them are mixed with something else and you can taste them straight away! Majority of them are just watered down but watch out for the ones with paintstripper...YES!! Scamming little locals who try and get you to buy silly glow bangles etc when you're drunk, they CON you big time, they know every trick in the book! The beach isn't the cleanest either so we tended to stay at our poolside! Not being able to flush toilet paper down the toilet - it has to go in the bin! Not nice!! OVERALL: Fab holiday if you want to get drunk & a tan (there was a heatwave when we were there - 46 degrees!!) so you can imagine the colour we came back! Not for young kids though, nothing for them to do and the nightlife is far too lively! Going to Malia in 2008 but will definitely be returning to Kavos at some point! (",)

Kavos - Sandra, David, Eira and Alana. Date of travel: May 2007
Kavos is not a pretty resort and the beach itself is horrendous. The centre is very lively with lots of youngsters enjoying themselves. we found some nice restuarants and bars that were more suitable for the mature people. The village taverna served lovely food and the service was brilliant, the entertainment in the village taverna is worth a visit. We especially like the rock bar as the DJ would change the music so that we could enjoy, he was brilliant as were the Greek barman and the three English girls we got to know. We hired a car and travelled round Corfu for a day, we also went on a boat trip to Paxos which we really enjoyed. Paxos, and Corfu town are well worth a visit. We enjoyed our time in Kavos, it wasn't as bad as people made out just a little mad in some bars but we did not see any trouble. The Kosmar rep we had the first few days of our holidays was a complete wreck but she was replaced towards the end of the week and Richard the new rep seemed a bit more approachable. Mosquitoes a problem, take lots of repellent but as long as you know how to enjoy yourselves you will manage a week in Kavos.

Me and 7 of my friends went to Kavos for a week at the beginning of September and it rocked!!!! Forget Ibiza and Aiya Napa, Kavos was the spot!! Chillin out and gettin a tan by day (or tryin out all the crazy water sports) then heading out to the clubs (less than a minute's walk from our apartments, right on the strip) and pubs and getting absolutely off our racks!!! Everyones really friendly, and although the reps bug ya constantly to come into their bar, you get to know them and they're sound enough! Buzz bar, 42nd street and Rolling Stones were the best, but the rest were all classics too! look out for the fella on the beach, comin round to sell you his "sexy melons"!! "Afters" on the beach is for the couples, and for chillin out after a hard nights partyin..... really relaxing, and a great way to meet people. Photographers are on the streets each night, so get a moment captured and collect it the next day! All in all, its a wicked place, roll on summer 2007 til we all get to go again!! hi to the mafia;-)

21st Birthday in Kavos!!!! - Clare, Jo, Lis & Michelle. Date of travel: Sep 2006
Me and my three mates went to Kavos for a week on a girly holiday for my 21st Birthday! It was the best week and birthday of my life. As soon as we got back we all missed it and felt depressed!! We will definately be going back there next year for two weeks this time!! We all loved it there, we met great people and all the bars and clubs were wicked, especially Sex club which had the best foam party I have ever been to!!! All the drinks are well cheap with offers like 2 cocktails and 2 shots for 5 euros which is wicked! The PA people are annoying but you get used to it!! You have got to go there if you love the sun, love alcohol and going clubbing!! Coz that is all you will be doing! Everyone I met out there had either been before or said they would go again and some are even going out there next year to work there. Make sure you go to Kavos at some point, you will love it!!!!!!

Kavos is dandy.. min - Jon, Scott, Stu and Mac. Date of travel: Sep 2006
Really enjoyed the nite life in Kavos its so easy to end up gettin minced and is just a top nite in the end! The people there seem decent enough had no problems with anyone since there all there to have a good time! The PR's however... it'll b too soon if i see them again! Maybe the only people that annoyed us on our holiday - they are non stop but just insane at night and when u aint in the mood u just wanna chin em'! Asides them lol some of the outings are top notch - the pub crawl, bbq boat trip and water park were all gr8 and the pub crawl was the best way to find all the good places to head out to! Id def reccommend doing the day out as it fills up ur holiday from drinking all week and the dreaded hangover and day wasted from sleeping lol! Tour Operator: Libra

Flamin Mental - Hannah Miles, Sophie Terenzio. Date of travel: Sep 2006
Kavos was mad from the word go. The town was really good so much to do. All the bars are gr8 except from Fire bar coz thats a dump. Snobs, Crash bar and Buzz was the best. The restuarants were really nice good food and really cheap. Recommed it to any young people wanting a laugh!

If you are with olympic the reps are legends too-and they are quite hot, especially neil! haha! Anyway Im so jealous if youre goin to Kavos!!

Kavos 2006 - MINT!!!! - Manchester. Date of travel: Sep 2006
Well since being back from Kavos, which has only been a week or so I have been depressed since I got back! I had the best time ever, went with a mate and we both loved it, I've been 3 times before. it just gets better and better! The bars are TOP! And PR'S are a pain but still you get to know alot of them! WHICH CAN BE AN ADVANTAGE! The main Clubs are Trinity and Atlantis, which are ACE! Our appartments (Sailor Apartments) were just right across from Players lounge so we didnt have to fall far home! ha! that was prob my favourite bar! I really love Kavos and am definately goin back next year! The thing is my throat has been damaged for life, my mate lost her voice on 2nd day and i lost it towards the end of the week! I got back to Manchester and i still had a sore throat, been told all sorts, that its the ice in your drinks and people also have said they serve some mad stuff in your drinks which strip your throat- oh well it was worth it, still got trollyed! And yeag if you have a boyfiend DO NOT GO! HA! Its new name is Temptation Island ha! Just to say hi to everyone and also Dan from portsmouth, we LOVE YOU HA!!! Well if your there next year - MANCHESTER GIRLS WILL BE BACK!!!!

It is one of the best places i have ever visited - if you are going there be sure to go with Olympic - the reps are fab and they organise some ace nights out (bar crawl is the best) If you are heading there you must have a head&*^r - Im telling you they are lethal!

A Wahed out Holiday in kavos - Jenni. Date of travel: Sep 2006
Kavos itself is reasonably good. If you are not into Sunbathing and gitting next to the pool then its not the holiday for you. Nothing to do during the day. Clubs are excellent. In late September early October the season is coming to an end. If you are looking for Pubs and clubs make sure you go with 2wentys First Choice) at this time of year because it is the only way you can get into come clubs they open them for an organised 2wentys night out only. the food is reasonably cheap but drink can be expensive if you are after a boozy week do not take anything less than Β£400. Make sure you visit Rolling stone, Atlantis and limelight they are ace!!

Kavos nightlife = immense - Hinch, Dan, Ryan, Welch, Gilly, Jordy. Date of travel: Aug 2006
The nightlife is the best I've ever seen with bars and clubs everywhere. The PRs are annoying but you just learn to ignore them. The Buzz Bar is fakin quality along with Future nightclub and Atlantis. If you just wana get smashed then go to Kavos. The drinks are quite expensive but u do get deals like 2 for one and fishbowls and stuff. Everyone is friendly there is not much trouble at all everyone just drunk and havin a good time. You will not get much sleep but u get use to it afta the frist few days. I would definately go bak to Kavos but not with as many people. The beach is not very nice either but the sea u cant beat - its the warmest sea ive ever been in and the watersports are immense to. We also went on the crazy speedboat which was brilliant. It takes u to the Blue Lagoon which is like paradise. The water is crystal clear and then u snorkle there and then drive bak from there and the speedboat goes crazy and tries to get everybody of it -it goes 75 mp which is fast. He turns you on your side and round in circles. Its well worth doing. The only thing we did with club 18-30 reps was the waterpark which was ok, but a little bit boring but we was expecting it to be better. Apart from that we did what we wanted to and went were we wanted to go. Tour Operator: Coop

I cant really put into words how good it was for me and my boys Tin Tin, Lew, Welsh Margo and Fryer we would go back tommorow if we could, only advice I could give you is go to Kavos!!! Me and the boys enjoyed it that much we are thinking about going back to do some PR work!! If you go, get your self to Rockys, 42nd street, Buzz and Rolling Stones and after that Venue and Future!!! In the morning full english breakfast from Desperados was amazing !!! 2.90 euro!!! If you go there and dont have fun theres something wrong with u or u probably stayed in bed at night!! Forget that, get urself out and dont come back in until 8 am and chill out on beach to watch sun come up prefrebably with a girl !!! My mate even broke his foot and he had time of his life dancing on poles gettin sympathy vote with girls. LEGEND!! Tour Operator: thompson cook
Kavos Baby What A Holiday Man!!! - Deano, Aaron, Glen, Matt & Steve. Date of travel: Aug 2006
Well first off Yeah, Kavos smells, but you get used to it & after awhile you dont tend to notice it much but it can hum sometimes. The PR's? Well its quite a long strip so be prepared coz they don't stop til you go in 4 a drink but some tend to ease off if your face becomes familiar. Rite where 2 hav it up? Well we loved Crash Bar....but it was on our hotel doorstep so we was in there nearly every nite then check out Rolling Stones, Rocky's & 42nd Street them places r proper wicked 2 hav a laugh drink & dance in. For clubs the best place is Trinity/Future which has like 3 rooms 2 party in & every Wednesday they have special events we had DJ Luck & MC PSG they tore the place up we didn't leave til like 5-6 in the morning it was that wicked. Next up don't let your tour operator take u 4 a mug with any day trips & what not coz u can get them much cheaper either on the beach coz ppl come up 2 u selling them or from shops on the strip. The only thing we brought from our operator was the trinity tickets coz it included a bar crawl which was only ok ive been on much better ones. We did one boat trip which was kinda cool & worth the money but the best things we did were Jet Skiing & we hired some quads there cool for gettin around if u wanna get out 4 abit. So all in all Kavos was wicked & we lo
