Looked nothing like in the brochure! The pool was an ok size but not really many sunbeds or room around the pool! The bar is basic as well as the pool food. The apartments are very, very basic. Beds are something to be desired! They are either hard or have nothing to keep them up so you fall straight through them. Bathrooms are disgusting, dark and dingy! The shower sprayed in every direction except the place you wanted it to. Kitchen we didn't use except for the fridge. My friend attempted to use the kettle but burnt her hand as there was no safety shut off on it and it burnt the work top. The air conditioning is a rip off as you have to pay €5 for 8 hours. Mine didn't work so I complained, nothing was done about it. So I fixed it myself. The sheets or towels weren't changed in the week we were there. The staff were friendly enough as long as you were spending enough money! But had a bit of a strop if you used notes. €20 to keep your room till 8pm! Nowhere to keep your suitcases if on a night flight. Our rep at Olympic was useless!! But the one thing it does have going for it is the location!

The lydia 2 Apartments were ideal for young groups or young couples! We couldn't knock the location, it was close to all the bars, clubs and shops. The owners and workers in the Lydia were lovely and were really laid back, letting you have a mythos in the pool and gave free shots of sambuka if you not too sick of it by the end of your holiday! The apartments were clean and had everything you need. There's no reception in the apartments so you get dropped off at the apartments and will find your key in the back of your door! Would definitely recommend these apartments!

We stayed in the Lydia apartments from 9-16 August 06. It was brilliant!! The location for the nightlife, shops and beach was great! but the only problem was the actual apartment!! The beds were rubbish and not cleaned all week, the rooms were unclean and smelly, and the bathroom had a broken shower and the sink got blocked easily. There was hardly NO room and not enough plates, etc for us! the rooms are OK if u want to want to use it as a base and not be there much, which helped us! Overall, holiday was wikid! we'll go back!! but not to same apartments...
